FLEECE CAGE LINERS to suit the Kmart grid cages

Here at Deano, we’ve been making fleece cage liners since 2013 – now we can make the Kmart sized ones for you too.

Kmart have released a wire storage cube system, that many people are using as guinea pig and bunny enclosures.

Grid type cages can be configured how you like, they all connect the same way.

The grids themselves are different sizes, depending where you purchase them from.

 

REGULAR C&C grids from Australian online retailers are generally 35cm x 35cm square, with 9 x9 squares on the grid

 

KMART grids are only 30cm x 30cm square, with only 7×7 squares on the grid – so the holes are larger.

 

 

 

 

HOW TO ORDER YOUR KMART GRID CAGE LINERS:

Choose your required liners by NUMBER OF GRIDS LONG, then NUMBER OF GRIDS WIDE – using measurements in cm to search does not work here.

Caution: As the gaps in the Kmart grids are larger than the C&C 35cm grids, please consider this factor if you have small guinea pigs. They’ll wriggle thru, they could get stuck trying.

LINER SIZING GUIDE:

Sizing for these Kmart liners will be 30cm for the grid, plus 1cm for the gap = multiples of 31.  –  So a 4×2 grid cage will be 4×31=124×62

LOFT LINERS –

If you want to build a second level, you may need a ramp gap cut into the liner for the upper level. Just let me know the size you need cut out, and if it is on the left or right side. There is no extra charge for this. The standard gap size is 15cm wide x 21cm deep, to fit the corflute ramps from GPA.

 

Deano fleece cage liners are reversible – they’ll work no matter which side is facing upwards. Easy to wash, quick to dry – and back into the cage.

 

FLEECE OPTIONS:

Each liner has two sides, a front and back – so you can choose two fleece options for each liner. Patterns and plains all cost the same.

The liners will be made a few cm larger than the quoted sizes, to allow a relaxed fit, and a little shrinkage.

 

NOTE: We’ve made a small change – The inner absorbent layer is stitched securely all the way around on all liners, instead of just across the ends.
