ANKO/KMART PET HOUSE –
ABSORBENT WASHABLE FLEECE LINERS
If you’ve bought one of these little ‘cheap and cheerful’ beds from Kmart – now there’s an alternative to the foam mattress.
Deano introduce an absorbent and washable fleece liner, made especially for these Pet House beds.
The foam mattress can be come soiled quickly, the cover supplied is just a pillowslip style – so pets can also ingest the foam/fabric if they like to chew their bedding.
The absorbent fleece liner will be made the same way as our very popular DOLL BED LINERS for the IKEA doll beds.
Fleece on the top and bottom, with two layers of the absorbent cotton based core. There’s no leaks, and no drips.
If you feel you want to protect the wooden base even more, this liner can also be made with a water repellent barrier layer sewn in for an extra couple of dollars. (These cannot be put into a dryer).
They’re reversible, in both the regular or waterproof layer options – prints and plain fleece cost the same. Choose a front and a back for each liner.
HOW TO USE THE ABSORBENT FLEECE LINER ON YOUR HOUSE BED
The absorbent fleece liner has been designed to fit straight onto the wooden bed – not on top of the mattress. Liquids will not leak out through the bottom of the liner.
If you place it on top of the mattress, it will simply slide off when pets climb on top of it.
HEAVY USE: If you have many animals which are using it, and toileting on it, wash it every few days. The waterproof option may be better for you if it is going to get heavier use.
