Description
NEW RANGE – July 2024
I have decided to expand the crate liner range – as not all pets need the same type of bedding.
There’s three styles – they will be listed as SOFT, SUPPORT, ABSORBENT for ease of selection.
We’ll start with a basic/common size range – others can be added – there can be slight variations between brands.
We have THREE types available:
1. Liner SOFT – this one has polar fleece top and bottom, with a layer of squishy polyester wadding stitched securely inbetween. Reversible and snuggly soft. Perfect for use in the crate, as a rug, or on the floor. Throw it in the wash, easy clean and quick to dry. Thickness approx 4cm
2. Liner SUPPORT – this is a four layer liner – on the top and bottom is polar fleece – then inside is a layer of the soft polyester wadding, PLUS a layer of cotton based absorbent core material. The liner will draw liquids into the core layer, like a disposable nappy does. No leaks, no drips, and the surface layer stays clean and dry for your pets. Perfect for senior pets that need more cushioning, but security for little accidents. Machine wash. Thickness approx 4cm.
3. Liner ABSORBENT – Our famous fleece cage liners (we’ve been making them since 2013) fleece on top and bottom, with a layer of the cotton based core securely stitched together. Liquids are drawn into the core, the surface stays clean and dry. So versatile for crate use as a toilet potty pad or bed, on the seat of the car, floor mat, convalescing pets. Reversible, machine wash, hose off outdoors, or handwash – winner!! Thickness approx 2cm

Absorbent and washable – Carrier/travel/vet crate liners are available too – find them here: Pet Carrier Liners
These liners work like a disposable nappy – liquids are drawn down into the core layer, so the surface stays dry, keeping your pets clean and comfortable. Wash them over and over…. so many uses, and you’ll never need those disposable puppy pads again..
Some suggestions are:
Whelping Boxes: A washable, absorbent mat for lining the whelping box for both mum and babies.
Carry/Vet Crates: Ideal in the crates in case of accidents, comfy to sleep on for car journeys too. Great for animals that get car sick.
Show Cages: Long-haired animals that have been brushed won’t re-knot their hair if on a fleece cage liners.
Puppy Crates: For those who do crate training for their dogs, these are a washable alternative to expensive puppy pads. No plastic in my liners, unlike puppy pads that are not good when eaten by pups.
Sick/Injured Animals: Ideal for animals that are convalescing, in confined quarters due to illness.
Older Pets: Senior pets with incontinence issues may benefit from bedding that is easy to remove and clean.
Car Seat Protection/Wagon Liner: If you travel with your dogs and want top protect the upholstery from claws and fur, fleece cage liner on the seat, or in the back cargo area work great.
As there are so many possibilities with these liners, you need to contact me for a quote to make them for you. Please provide your measurements, a sketch is fine too..
If its a tricky shape, a basic sketch diagram showing the measurements will help me draft the cutting pattern.
I can make FLEECE CAGE LINERS as standard rectangles, squares, or even round ones.
Pop a fleece cage liner on top of a sheet of plastic (a tarp works great), and it will protect your hardwood or carpet floors as the liner will absorb liquids readily..
*There will not be liquids seeping through the bottom of the liner onto the floor – but there will be condensation between the liner and the floor if the liner is left for long periods in a damp state.
